Join the third webinar of the From Practice to Change series, a knowledge exchange initiative by the Life COMET project, connecting energy communities across Europe to share practical knowledge about strategy, policy and engagement.

In this session, we will present a “Toolkit for energy community service providers”.

The Toolkit is an operational tool based on practical hands-on experience and existing examples developed to support the implementation of Community Energy Service Points – CESPs. The primary purpose of it is to help organisations design, launch, and operate CESPs.

It provides concrete steps, decision rules, checklists, templates, and service design tools that reflect real-life constraints, emerging market conditions, and varying levels of institutional maturity. 

The toolkit offers modular building blocks that can be adapted to local regulatory, market, and organisational conditions, and it can be used by organisations establishing a CESP for the first time or the existing service providers planning to expand their support services, scale or professionalize their support for energy communities. 

To bring the toolkit into a real-world context, the second part of the webinar will showcase how these support services are already being implemented in practice. Robert Feri, speaking on behalf of Borzen, Slovenia, will present the country’s renewable energy information point as a concrete example of an Energy Community Service Point in action. Participants will gain insights into how the service was set up, the support it provides to citizens and communities, and the lessons learned from its implementation.
