National Community Energy Coalitions

This report explores the creation and development of "National Community Energy Coalitions" as part of the Life COMET project. These coalitions, established in seven countries –Croatia, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Romania, and Slovenia– serve as platforms to advance community energy initiatives, tailored to the unique national contexts and challenges of each region.

The document provides an in-depth look at each coalition's initial development plans, including main activities, governance structures, objectives, and strategies for effectively engaging diverse stakeholders. It also highlights lessons learned during the process, with interviews from key members of each coalition, along with examples from other European initiatives and offers replicability recommendations for other countries looking to establish similar coalitions.
